Poetry Tapestry

Run for the first time in February 2020, Poetry Tapestry was carried out as an interfaith poetry slam, whereby 7 poets of various faiths performed their spoken word poems. The theme was ‘Breathing Life into Faith’ – exploring what faith means to us and how we keep it close to heart.

Poetry Tapestry's aims are:

1) to make faith something that's approachable, understandable and appreciated,

2) build a community with increased intercultural quotient, and

3) encourage people to be comfortable with poetry and other art forms as a means to self-express around faith.
